Engine and Performance

2009 Chevrolet Corvette comes in standard Corvette, Z06, and ZR1 models. The standard Corvette Coupe and Convertible are powered by a 6.2-liter V8 that delivers stunning 430 hp and 424 lb-ft of torque. The Z06 comes equipped with a 7.0-liter V8 that churns out exotic-class 505 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque, while the ZR1 gets 638 hp and 604 lb-ft of torque from a supercharged 6.2-liter V8.

Body and Styling

The 2009 Chevrolet Corvette is available as a two-seat coupe or convertible in standard Corvette, Z06 and ZR1 models. The Corvette convertible model features a removable body-color roof panel, offering the security of a fixed hardtop as well as the convenience of open-air driving. The Corvette ZR1 features lightweight carbon fiber on the hood, roof panel, roof bow, front fascia splitter, and rocker moldings, while maintaining similar styling to the standard Corvette.
